Architectural Control Committee (ACC) Information

Did you know about the Architectural Control Committee (ACC)?

The TSHOA bylaws require the appointment of an Architectural Control Committee (ACC).  The committee is charged with protecting the deed covenants and overseeing and promoting adherence to our deed restrictions.  As per our bylaws, ACC is also responsible for the review of proposed construction or placement activities for deed restriction compliance.

ACC members interpret the deed restrictions, offer input to residents regarding the covenants, and provide recommendations to board for enforcement. They work for you to protect all Tonkawa Springs homeowners’ property values.  In the event you have a new project or wish to file a complaint about a perceived violation in the neighborhood, you will need to submit a request via acc@tonkawasprings.org   Please understand that any calls you may receive concerning deed violations are from your neighbors and ACC is charged with reviewing.

Several neighbors have recently asked how to submit perceived violations anonymously.  As we understand the conflict that this may create with reporting your neighbor, we wanted to make you aware of our web form https://tonkawasprings.org/acc/ On the ACC Tab, if you leave name and email address fields EMPTY, this will allow the complaint to be submitted anonymously.  You will not receive an update, but it will allow ACC to review the concern submitted in the question/concern box.

As always, please do not hesitate to send any questions or concerns regarding our community to board@tonkawasprings.org.  As we are a 100% volunteer board as well as all neighbors in this community, we hope to work with all of you to continue to keep Tonkawa Springs the beautiful community that it is.
